Secession - Radioland (UK 12 Inch / 1987)

01 Radioland 4:24
02 Simon Says...6:16
03 Everybody's Sneakin' 4:41

Just kicking this one out as I had already finished it a bit ago. Another addition to the Secession posts. I have one more left to post, the big 'Sneakyville' 12 inch. I'm waiting to get the artwork for it so you won't have to settle on the low grade discogs version. Here's a link for more information.  Enjoy this for now!

China Crisis - Black Man Ray (UK 12 Inch / 1985)

01 Black Man Ray 3:38
02 Animalistic (A Day At The Zoo Mix) 11:04

Bonus

03 Animalistic (Edit) 4:38

I recently picked up this 12 inch along with a series of other various twelve inches from a Discogs seller. Buying in bulk is quite nice and rather inexpensive for the shipping (U.S.) if you look for the less pricey records. I already had the recordings, just wanted the art. Here is my photo work retouched as usual. The actual recordings came from the 'Ultimate Crisis' release from 2012 and from a 'Complete 12 Inch' release that I have. Here is the Discogs page for further information. Enjoy!

Posting this because I love Colourbox and it technically is/was a blue moon this evening! You can find all the details on this lovely 4 A.D. release here. Again, amazing art work by the 23 Envelope group!  All my scans/photos are from my release. Enjoy!

Secession - Fire Island (Import 12 Inch / 1984)

01 Fire Island (Extended) 7:37
02 Fire Island (Extended Instrumental) 6:58

This is one of the earliest 12 inch releases from Secession. They were still developing a signature sound, but all the elements are there. 'Fire Island' was released on Beggars Banquet at the time. A fitting label for the times and their unique sound. Only one prior release before this. It was the 'Betrayal' 7 inch which usually sells for quite a fortune.

Secession - Michael (UK 12 Inch / 1986)

01 Michael 6:07
02 All The Animals Come Out At Night 4:13
03 Helter Skelter 4:02

I completely abandoned my idea of finishing up the Secession 12 inches, until now. Taking a break from some previous posts to get this wrapped up. At one point I had all the Secession releases. I'm only missing the artwork for one release. I will be getting that taken care of soon. Here we have the 'Michael' 12 inch form 1986. This particular extended version is quite nice. The second track, 'All The Animals...' is a sample laden version, a bit different from the 12 inch for certain. Of course 'Helter Skelter' is the bands take on the Lennon/McCartney original. All recordings and art are from my 12 inch. Enjoy!

Signal Aout 42 - Contrast (Import CD / 1990)

Adding to the SA42 files. This was the bands second full CD release from 1990. At this point, Signal Aout 42 was already well established and quite revered in the electronic industrial / EBM world. 'To Talk Nonsense' and 'Dead Is Calling' became full on 12 inch releases and have been included on a multitude of well noted compilations from that time frame. As like the previous SA42 post, this is another hard to find and rather expensive release. I wish I still had mine! The recordings for this post are from my original release that I sold a while back. The art was a little beat up, so I did some repair work and decided to include the Discogs photos of the CD and front art. Happy Friday all! Enjoy!

Signal Aout 42 - Pro Patria (Import CD / 1989)

A lovely example of late 80's electronic industrial / EBM / New Beat! I realized that my blog was missing a nice collection of SA 42, so let me start here, especially seeing that I have been going in this direction for some time. I originally had most of Jacky Meurisse's releases. This was back in the mid 90's. I unfortunately did not record or copy the artwork like I do now, prior to selling it. What I was left with was a series of thrown together scans and less than acceptable bit rate recordings. That was then. Now I'm working on replacing all those back files. This post is from the actual CD that I purchased recently. I can't say it goes cheap! Expect to drop anywhere from $40-$70 on eBay or Discogs. Feel free to enjoy it here! I, of course will be relisting mine on Discogs for those of you who need the physical love of a CD!
