Concrete Blonde - Bloodletting (Expanded Remaster CD / 2010)

Satisfying a request (actually a few) from a year or two ago. I held out on posting this as it still was available (technically still is) and had recently come out. I try to avoid conflicts in that manner. I guess this is a bit of a lazy post as well. I've been damn busy these past few weeks and really haven't settled into my 'redesigned' work zone yet. My issues. Thanks for the patience...again, if you are a daily follower. Enjoy this superb remaster!

This remaster is soooo damn awesome! Absolutely love it! After all, Bloodletting has to be the second greatest Gothic Rock song of all time (after Bela Lugosi's Dead).

    GREAT SHARE ... THANK YOU!

If you ever come across the Bloodletting EP, PLEASE share it, as I have been looking for the German version forever, and they only included the French on the remaster: http://www.discogs.com/Concrete-Blonde-Bloodletting-The-Vampire-Song/master/373685

    1. I purchased the 'Bloodletting' CDS you've been looking for! I bought the one copy I saw on Discogs. It's coming from Germany...so it may be a bit of a wait. ;)

  3. Bless you, my friend! I too, love Concrete Blonde, and own nearly all their full lengths, except Mojave and the reissues (on CD.) The comps 'Recollection' and 'Still in Hollywood' are nice as well and I recently found their video comp DVD as a cut out. I love Johnette's voice and have her Vowel Movement and Pretty & Twisted projects as well and like her contribution to David Byrne-less Talking Heads disc. But Bloodletting is probably my favorite and it really caused them to blow up. I was already a fan and distinctly remember seeing them performing on US late night TV (perhaps the short-lived Dennis Miller show?) and instead of 'Joey' they did an intensely dark & rocking version of Bloodletting, which I loved. I wish I could find my VHS with that performance on it. That said, congrats on the CD single find and thank you again for this great share. Best to you and yours! - CW
