Philip Oakey & Giorgio Moroder (CD / 2003 Remaster)

Filling another request. Here's the 2003 Remaster from The Human League's Philip Oakey and the 70's Godfather of Disco, Giorgio Moroder. The famous track being 'Together In Electric Dreams' from the 1984 movie of the same name. Here's a link to some more Discogs info.

Concrete Blonde - Bloodletting (Expanded Remaster CD / 2010)

Satisfying a request (actually a few) from a year or two ago. I held out on posting this as it still was available (technically still is) and had recently come out. I try to avoid conflicts in that manner. I guess this is a bit of a lazy post as well. I've been damn busy these past few weeks and really haven't settled into my 'redesigned' work zone yet. My issues. Thanks for the patience...again, if you are a daily follower. Enjoy this superb remaster!

Society - Love It (Import & US Promo 12 Inch / 1987)

01 Love It (Palad's Freestyle Mix) 6:38
02 Love It (Lovelite House Mix) 5:45
03 Love It (A Coldcut Mix-1) 5:28
04 Love It (A Coldcut Mix-2) 5:29
05 Love It (Original Version) 6:25
06 Love It (Dub Version) 3:43
07 Saturn Girl 6:27

This has been a work in progress. I was trying to push this out earlier (several requests for it months ago), but the artwork was holding me back. Trust me, you don't want to see my original import copy! Major photoshop/paintshop going on here. My only other issue was the recording of the classic 'Coldcut' mix. I recorded two versions, one version from each promo. Mind you, they are the same. I just hear differences due to the quality of the vinyl itself (or overplayed vinyl). You be the judge. The Coldcut mix was the obvious go to by most DJ's back in 1987-1988. As for the track 'Saturn Girl', well, let's just say it reminds me of Sigue Sigue Sputnik minus the awkward samples and electronics. A bit rough and the vocal is less than desired, but that's just!  Alright, enough then. I hope you all have recovered from your New Years Eve celebrations. I stayed home and blogged. Woot to 2016! Enjoy!
